Small Bright fun Kitchen
In the realm of residential interior design, the challenge presented by this kitchen was twofold: not only was it old, dark, and dated, but it also lacked seating and sufficient storage. Complicating matters, its open concept limited available wall space for mounting cabinets.
To address these issues, the goal was to transform the space into a brighter and more functional area. Introducing a predominantly white palette played a key role in opening up the entire kitchen, while deep yellow upper cabinets infused a touch of sunshine. White quartz counters, a penny tile backsplash in white, and all-white lower cabinetry contributed to a more spacious ambiance while offering ample storage through a combination of closed cabinets and open shelving.
Strategically, opposite the cooking area, shallow lower cabinets were incorporated to create an overhang for a dining bar, adding both functionality and extra storage. This project stands as a testament to the transformative power of a small renovation, showcasing how thoughtful residential design can have a significant impact on both aesthetics and functionality.
